Hundreds Rally Behind DJ Keliz in “Eyes for Keliz” Charity Run
Kumi, Uganda – Thousands of compassionate individuals gathered on January 18th to support the “Eyes for Keliz” Charity Run, an initiative aimed at restoring the sight of renowned Teso DJ, DJ Keliz. The popular DJ, whose influence spans Teso and beyond, was struck by an unexplained illness that left him blind for six months.
The charity event, organized by family and friends, began with an energetic morning run that saw participants from all walks of life coming together in solidarity. Later in the day, a spirited football match united the community further, culminating in a grand night show at Eclipse Club to celebrate the love and support shown by the people of Kumi.
The event has highlighted the unwavering spirit of the Teso community in rallying around one of their own, showcasing both their unity and commitment to helping DJ Keliz regain his sight.
